Yesterday was our first full day in Costa Rica, and, oh boy, a lot happened. It looks like everyday something new is going to occur. Our first animal encounter happened while we were in the pool. As we swam to cool off, howler monkeys jumped from tree to tree behind us. It was quite amazing, we saw a baby monkey crawl onto its mom’s back. Today I am looking forward to seeing more animals, including the leafcutter ants that made their home right next to ours. Fruits are delicious here, but my mom and dad won’t let me and Nene open the coconut we found 😆. Miss all you and hope to call or visit soon.
